Patrick Oh is a Certified Management Consultant by TUV-SUD under the Enterprise Singapore approved consultant scheme.  Formerly an Industrial Automation design engineer which gave him his strong problem-solving and integration capabilities.

He ventured in China for 13 years and founded a business consultancy company, a USA-registered NGO on Sustainable Community Development and a Bi-lingual mini-International School.

Through the years in consulting, he has worked with various SMEs in Kunming of various industries, Yunnan Eastern Airline, 120 Civil Defence, various International NGO (World Vision, Save the Children, etc) and also foreign clients from various countries who wanted to setup business in China ( USA, Brazil, South Africa, New Zealand, etc.).  His consultancy covers corporate culture, governance and human development, strategic planning, technology,  and branding and marketing.

He was also appointed as a guest lecturer and consultant for Yunnan Narcotic Control and HIV Prevention Training Centre – Yunnan University.

 

Eric Cheng

Eric Cheng is a Wealth Management Director with more than 15 years of professional experience in enabling his clients to implement and monitor their financial plans through the effective use of suitable insurance and investment products in his recommendations. He has also previously served as the company’s Head of Compliance and Technical Director (for financial products & services) before stepping down recently to devote more time for his personal aspirations. He has also taught on insurance and investment subjects as an adjunct lecturer at a local polytechnic. Prior to joining the financial services industry, he had worked 16 years in a Swiss based MNC, covering international trade monitoring and pre-shipment inspection services. He had graduated with distinction in Bachelor of Commerce from the prestigious University of Toronto in Canada. He is also a Certified Financial Planner.

Brian Sweetlove

Brian Sweetlove is a South African with a M.Soc.Sc (Clinical Psychology) and specialises in Human Captial Development and Leadership consultancy in the area of Strategic Planning, Organisation design, Performance management, Executive Assessment and placement, Change management, Leadership and team development.

His experience is spread across the Service and retail sectors, construction, manufacturing, engineering, transport, education, medical services and non-profit organisation.  He has provided consultancy in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and the USA.

Peter Teong

Peter Teong studied mathematics and later completed his MBA at NUS. 

Since the 1980s, Peter Teong has been consulting with local and international companies in managing  their leadership development and business challenges. 

An entrepreneur himself, Peter understands the risk inherent and talent needed  in new start-ups and in cross border expansions. People build successful businesses.

Peter is able to advise and help companies to invest in business opportunities and build  strategic partnerships along the Belt & Road Initiative.

Jamie Teong

Jamie Teong worked in the leadership levels of the Public Service of Singapore and continues as an adjunct for  the Civil Service College, and the Institute for Adult Learning.  She was Director of Personnel and Finance in the Public Service Division (PSD) of the Prime Minister’s Office, directed HR in a private medical group and private hospital, and then of the Civil Service College.  

She represented Singapore as a member of the Commonwealth HR Network in the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM).  Jaime serves the community as Vice Chairman of the Coaching and Mentoring Special Interest Group under the Adult Education Network. She is a board member of an NGO to prepare youths for the nascent post-war economy. She volunteers help to people seeking to overcome deep hurts and work through obstructive issues in their lives.

Jaime brings a wealth of public sector  experience to our consulting team.

Background

SG Venture Consulting Pte Ltd was established in 2019 as part of our vision to be a critical link between Singapore’s consultants as a bridge for China and the One Belt One Road nations. 

 

SG Venture Consulting Pte Ltd was formerly a Wholly Foreign Owned (WFOE) provincial level enterprise registered in Yunnan, China, known as Yunnan Venture Consulting Solution Pte Ltd.  The company provides consulting businesses to various local companies, government agencies, foreign companies and NGOs like World Vision (USA), Save-The-Children (UK), etc.  We also organised talks with various top USA companies in Yunnan; 3M, Airline, etc.  The company was also the Provincial distributor for Cloud Office Automation (CISS) for a China-registered Taiwanese company with HQ in TianJin, China.  

 

Patrick introduced QR-Code into Yunnan, China in 2007 as a marketing tool plus cloud computing for Office automation. 

 

Yunnan Venture Consulting Solution also runs a bi-lingual learning center which trained students self-learning approach and has seen Chinese students cleared 6 levels of English (Grade 1 to 6) in 2 years.  The company also has a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) division which provides consultancy in the area of community development with the Chinese authority and tertiary education.  The success of our Cattle-Of-Hope project which adopted a cooperative micro-loan model was well-received by the Chinese government that a fund for 3000 cattle was given by China’s Central government for the poverty-alleviation of the county.  The community development consultancy provides consulting in innovative tourism, sustainable microenterprise start-up, Eco-living design, etc.  We also help tertiary students to establish the Yunnan Tertiary Volunteers Alliance consisting of 8 universities with over 1000 volunteers generating over 40 projects to bless the communities each year.

 

Patrick Oh who was the founder was appointed as the lecture and consultant for Yunnan Anti-Narcotic and HIV Prevention Training Centre of Yunnan University and the Yunnan Police Force.  Previously in Singapore, Patrick pioneered Service Learning and Character Education in 1996 through the Care Force proto-type in Bedok North Secondary School which was well-received by Ministry of Education and was invited as plenary speaker for the launch of Service Learning in 2001.  Patrick was also in close collaboration with the launch of Youth Expedition Project, and hosted many teams from Singapore in Yunnan.

 

Upon Patrick’s return to Singapore in 2012, he has been involved in business consulting and is also a Singapore Certified Management Consultant (SCMS) by TUV-SUD. His expertise from his vast experiences across industries are in the area of Branding and Marketing, Incorporation of Business, Strategic Planning, Governance and Processes, Technology adoption and Training and Development.
